Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Usually we have snow where we live in the month of November but this year it has been surprisingly snow free, until now!

Last Friday when we introduced Caitlyn to snow  there was only about two inches on the ground. Since then we've turned into a winter wonderland and have had more than two feet worth of snow. There's no sign of stopping until maybe Thursday.

One of my Facebook friends described it best when she said "Mother Nature has the snow flu and can't stop puking on us"

The schools are closed, the buses are canceled and there hasn't been any mail delivery. Luckily we have snow fairies that come and shovel our sidewalk (the joys of condo living). Caitlyn and I have been stuck in the house since Sunday and I don't think we'll be going anywhere for the rest of the week if this keeps up.

I've seriously considered letting her open her Christmas gifts early since I'm running out of ideas to occupy our day. We're usually out of the house at least once a day so this being stuck at home is giving me cabin fever already. Thank goodness for Baby Einstein who helps me in entertaining duties for a half hour.

To prove that I'm really not exaggerating, here are some pictures of the snow outside our home.

  1. Geez! If we had that here schools would be closed all winter! That is crazy! Can't believe 1hr away, Chatham has nothing. Unreal.

  2. I know its insane. On the news last night they were saying that towns only 20 min away had no snow at all. Since they're in the same school district their schools were closed as well and they had perfect weather.

  3. thanks Aunt Cindy, we're trying. I'm hoping to make it out of the house today for a little while. We'll see how that goes.

  4. Bring on the toboggan!!! Is Brock making it to work?

So crazy! You have enough snow to last you all winter! At least it will be a white Christmas for you! No guarantees here.
